OUR MENU

 

Our menu is 100% organic and changes after the season and what produce is available at the moment. We work with local producers to offer you the best ingredients. Our menu is available here. Gluten-free or vegan options are easily arranged, just speak to the staff.

In addition to our standard menu, we have some special dishes in both restaurants:

At Kalf & Hansen Mariatorget, small plates and sausage dishes are available from 3 pm on weekdays and all day weekends.

At Kantin av Kalf & Hansen at Bolinders plan, we have a dish of the day called Vittsjö. Discover the weekly menu here.

CATERING & VENUE

Our catering is designed to accommodate both large and small groups, whether it’s for a lunch meeting, corporate event, or 50th birthday party. Everything is 100% organic and seasonal like always. We arrange catering all year round and have many dishes, as well as a buffet available. See our full catering menu here.

You can also rent out our restaurant at Bolinders plan 3, which is within walking distance from Stockholm Central Station. In our three different menu packages, venue rental, staff, and VAT are included. We also have several different drink packages to choose from. We have space for 70 seated guests and 85 standing. ABOUT US

 

We create Nordic organic cuisine featuring meat, fish, and vegetarian quenelles with accompaniments, all sourced from seasonal ingredients.

Many wonder if maintaining a 100% organic profile is difficult. We believe quite the opposite. Crafting delicious, healthy meals is easy—it's simply about deciding what matters to oneself, to the world, and to the future.

Meet our team: Fabian, born in Solna and practically raised in his parents' restaurant, Backstugan, in Old Film City, Råsunda. Early on, he developed a passion for various flavors, which he swiftly translated into his education and career. Having attended culinary school in high school, Fabian has since worked with food in Stockholm, even being awarded 'Future Promise of the Year' at the Restaurant Gala in 2015.

Then there's Rune, hailing from Denmark but calling Stockholm home since 1986. Trained as a chef in Denmark, he's worked as a head chef in Copenhagen, Skagen, and Paris. Rune has owned establishments such as Gamla Stans Fiskaffär in Stockholm and Restaurant Backstugan in Old Film City from 1994 to 2006. He's authored several cookbooks, appeared on television shows and remains dedicated to the culinary craft.
